Teton County commissioners couldn’t make a decision Tuesday. At issue was a proposal from Kirk Hogan, the owner and manager of Ridgeline Excavation, to rezone parts of Hog Island, allowing Hogan to park his excavation and snowplowing equipment on his land.
…More heavy industry could lead to fuel leaks or spillage that could pose a concern to Hog Island’s groundwater said Jen Evans, Protect Our Water Jackson Hole’s advocacy director.
The area’s groundwater is “some of the most pristine groundwater in southern Teton County,” Evans said.
