The Aspens Pines treatment plant is one of four plants on private land in Teton County. The other three are operated by the town, Teton Village and Grand Targhee Resort. Grand Teton and Yellowstone national parks also operate wastewater facilities.
The 37-year-old plant, which serves the West Bank vacation rental hot spot and country club, has plans to rebuild its initial processing infrastructure to ease plant maintenance. The plant also intends to correct previous design flaws to better remove nitrogen from the waste.
