Council Balks at Boosting Creek Buffers

The Jackson Town Council unanimously approved expanding its Natural Resources Overlay, which dictates when developers need to consider environmental impacts, during a July 21 meeting. Councilors say the changes will help protect a greater number of ecologically important areas.

… “Decisions made today could really impact these resources in the future,” said Jen Evans, advocacy director for Protect Our Water Jackson Hole. “We respectfully ask the council to strengthen these remaining provisions.”
