Grand Targhee ski area floated to the top of a dozen entries in a statewide competition for Wyoming’s “Best Tasting Drinking Water” that was held last month in Casper. Clean water isn’t always a given, even in the seemingly pristine headwaters of the Snake River. On the east side of the Tetons, Fish Creek and Flat Creek have been listed as “impaired” for nutrient pollution.
