Jen moved to Jackson after earning a B.A. in Environmental Studies and Sociology from St. Lawrence University. Having grown up exploring the hills and lakes of the Berkshires and spending four years in the Adirondacks, she developed a deep commitment to environmental stewardship and community-rooted advocacy.

In 2022, she pursued a Master’s in Climate and Society at Columbia University, joining the inaugural class of the university’s Climate School. There, she co-developed and led a “Climate Justice in New York City” workshop, highlighting the unequal impacts of climate change on frontline communities.

Jen has held research roles with Columbia’s Center for Climate Systems Research at NASA’s Goddard Institute for Space Studies and the USDA Northeast Climate Hub. As a Climate Equity Fellow, she led the creation of GradCAMP, a regional cohort of graduate students integrating justice and equity into climate research, and developed a Climate Equity Toolkit to support inclusive adaptation strategies.

Additionally, Jen served on the Jackson Hole Climate Action Collective Board, co-authoring the Jackson Hole Climate Action Roadmap, while also coaching alpine ski racing with the Jackson Hole Ski & Snowboard Club.

Throughout her career, Jen has worked at the intersection of climate change, social equity, and community resilience. As Advocacy Director, she is honored to root her environmental work in the place she calls home—fighting to protect clean water for Teton County’s people, ecosystems, and future generations.
